Guide: Official Jellybean 4.1.2 XXELKC Firmware based ROM for Samsung Galaxy S3

ADVERTISMENTS

It seems that Samsung Galaxy S3 is blessed with endless love from ROM developers. I am saying it because various official leaked Android Jellybean versions are coming for S3 on very regular basis. Few days ago, we have seen XXELK4 firmware based Android 4.1.2 Jellybean update for this smartphone and today one more official firmware based Android Jellybean update is rolled for Galaxy S3. This new ROM is based on Official Jellybean 4.1.2 XXELKC Firmware and comes with lowest possible bugs and maximum efficiency. Best thing about this ROM is that it will not void your warranty if you follow exactly similar methods which I have discussed below in the remaining part of the article. Talking about Galaxy S3, it houses a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with best 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions. It officially comes with Android 4.0 ICS OS and is powered by a Quad Cored CPU processor with 1.4 GHz clocking and Cortex A9 series.

This latest ROM can be applied easily with Odin software which makes complete process an easy one. This ROM is stocked with all stable features of Android 4.1 Jellybean plus it also includes some additional features like:

• Brightness Slider with different location than Notification Panel
• Multiview Feature added
• Rotation feature which looks somewhat similar to 3D
• Android 4.2 Keyboard
• Gallery similar to Galaxy Note2
• Lots more

How to update
I am separating the procedure in three parts. In first part, you will get information about all pre-requisites which you will have to fulfill before update process. Second part is about download and other main processes and third part contains general instruction about how to install this ROM on your S3.

STEP I: Pre-Requisites
Check these prerequisites and fulfill all of them perfectly.

Step II: Downloads and Other processes
Download:
Android 4.1.2 XXELKC Firmware Package

to your computer.

How to enter to DOWNLOAD mode: you will require enter/boot to download mode during the third part of the update process. To do so, first switch OFF your mobile and then turn it ON while pressing and holding Vol. Up key.

Step III: Main process
You can all update procedure from here.
If you are getting any types of errors then simply remove your battery (turn your Galaxy S3 OFF) and repeat the complete steps again.
