Celkon A107 Signature and A9+ launched with attractive specs: a report

Celkon has launched two new Android smartphones today. Both the phones comes with low price tag (price of one phone is really very low). Best thing about both the gadgets is Android 4.0 ICS OS which itself stuffs plethora of apps, software features inside. Company has launched Celkon A107 and Celkon A9+. A107 comes with Rs. 6,999 tag and A9+ is launched with Rs. 3,299 tag. So now you can get Android ICS operated smartphone for a real low price tag. Nothing could be better than that. Now let’s move the specification part and observe whether these two comes with appropriate specs or not.

Celkon A107 Signature One features

It is a big phone/phablet with 5 inch screen which is optimized with 480x800 pixels capacitive touch screen. It is a dual SIM phone which can be used in dual modes also. It runs on Android 4.0 IC OS with 1 GHz dual core processor at 512 MB RAM. Dual core processor will surely enhance multi-tasking experience. It will take you to a new world where everything will become very fast and smooth.

It comes with 8 MP AF rear and VGA front facing camera.8 MP for Rs. 6,999 is really great and holds the capability to close business of several other similar range smartphones. It comes with 512 MB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB. It is its weakest part but it completely justifies its price.

It is a 2G phone which supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity sharing. It comes with 2100 mAh battery which is again a high end feature (even most of the 10K phones are not equipped with such strong battery).

Celkon A9+ specs

It is a basic phone with 3.5 inch 480x320 pixels capacitive screen. It runs on Android ICS OS which is like a wonder (for this price). It is powered by a single core processor at 1GHz clock with256MB RAM. It is going to give you a decent speed experience.

It is too a dual SIM dual standby phone which is equipped with 2 MP rear and VGA front facing camera. I love the concept of embedding both rear as well as front cameras in low price phone. It will surely keep it separated from other low budget Android phones. It comes with 512 MB internal and 16 GB external memory chips.

Connectivity wise, it supports 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm jack features. It is equipped with 1350 mAh battery which seems legit for low price tag.

Price and availability
Celkon A107Price: Rs. 6,999
Celkon A9+ Price: Rs. 3,299

You can buy both the phones from all online as well offline stores. It may take some days to reach them to your nearby stores so better to order these from online stores.

Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Advanced specs and pricing details

There were some discussions about Micromax A110Q last week. Now all those discussions got a right base in form of a leaked image by MMX NewsCaster on Twitter. So if leaks are to be believed then Micromax is going to unveil advanced version of one of its most successful phone MMX A110 Canvas 2. It is the smartphone which turned everything for company; it turned the company’s growth in a very short time span.

During A110 Canvas 2 the main system was based on a dual core processor which was the attracting feature (at that time). Now they are combining a quad core processor with Android 4.2 Jellybean OS. AT the time of A110 no other Indian company was there in phablet race but today there are lots of company’s which are developing phablets with tremendous rate.

Few days ago, Celkon too launched Celkon A119Q Signature HD with Android 4.2.1 Jellybean processor (though it was packed with quad core processor). There are no details about MMX A110Q processor but very likely it is going to be quad core piece.

Micromax A110Q images and specs
See this image:

It is the first A110Q leaked image. From image you can clearly read its name i.e. Micromax A110Q. From image it seems that it runs on Android 4.2.1 OS with no details about processor configuration. This image doesn’t reflect much of its specs. However as I said earlier that this phone was in rumor world last week too, at that time there were some reports regarding its specs. According to those reports, it houses a 5 inch 854x480 pixels FWVGA screen. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6589 quad core 1.2 GHz processor. It will house 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal and 32 GB external expandable memory. No other details are available yet but stay tuned as I am going to cover this topic completely.

Price and availability
No official words about price and availability are there but by seeing all the specs I think it will be launched with Rs. 13,000-15,000 initial cost.

Rivals
There are numbers of quad core phablets but quad core + Android 4.2 Jellybean combination is hardly seen in one or two phablets. According to me Celkon A119Q is going to be its best rival with very similar specs and pricing.

Xolo Q1000 is spotted on online store Flipkart. It is the much awaited phone from Xolo which is packed with some real class features. These days Xolo is trying its level best to scale its reputation and reach to next level. They are bringing Intel powered smartphones, updates for existing models etc. What else one can demand form a new mobile company.

Talking about Xolo then in no time this company has launched number of products. Best thing about Xolo is its experimental nature. It always comes with some unique featured piece that separates it completely from all other manufacturers. In a nutshell, Xolo is not a third world company anymore and you can freely trust it.

Xolo Q1000 Specs
Talking about the specs then Q1000 seems to be a giant with 5 inch 1280x720 pixels screen which is coated with scratch resistance Dragon Tail Glass and 295 ppi pixel density. Design wise, it is similar to all the smartphones i.e. speaker and front at top front, 3 touch sensitive buttons at bottom front, volume rockers along sides etc. However it is going to attract users with its scratch resistance screen. Scratch resistance screen gives users the chance to use the machine without screen protectors or something like (however I still advise you to use screen protector). It runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean OS. It is the latest Android version which is stuffed with plethora of high class software features. Some major features includes, smooth fluidic screen, faster-responsive, voice controlled search, easy and fast typing etc. IT is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB RAM and PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Quad core processor takes the multi-tasking experience to next level. So finally we have one more competitor for Micromax A116 Canvas HD, but I am sure Xolo will launch it for much lower price tag than A116.

It is a dual SIM dual standby phone which packs 8 MP rear and 1.2 MP front facing camera. Further its back camera is molded with LED flash and BSI sensor which are useful for all kinds of non-capturing conditions. It plays videos at 1080p. Like all other smartphones (domestic level), it comes with 4 GB internal and 32 GB external memory chips.

It supports 2G/3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, BT, 3.5 mm AJ etc connectivity tools. It further comes with 2100 mAh battery which seems legit and powerful.

All in all, Xolo Q1000 is wrapped with real high end features and it is ready to give all its competitors a tough fight.

Xolo Q1000 online availability and price
Q1000 is spotted on Flipkart (as you can see from the above image). It is tagged there with Coming Soon price tag. Till now there are no details about its pricing and availability however it may hit the store by May end.

Xolo Q1000 VS Micromax A116 Canvas HD
Specs wise both the phones are pretty similar. Both comes with quad core processor, Android 4.2 JB OS (as A116 can now be updated to Android 4.2 JB), back camera etc. Here price will play the real game. So please go with that phone which will produce fewer loads to your pocket.

Micromax A91 Canvas Lite complete specs and images

Micromax might launch on more Canvas Smartphone soon. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas A92 Lite its first image is leaked at Twitter by MMX Newscaster. Here I am going to predict MMX A92 Canvas Lite specs in reference to the leaked image. Till now no information 9except its processor) is unveiled so sadly I have to predict them myself. All the specs which I am going to predict down may vary from original specs (I will share official specs once they will go live).

Micromax A91 Canvas Lite images and specs
First of all have a look at leaked image:

From above image, it seems that it will house a 4-4.5 inch screen with unknown resolution. If we carefully study previous MMX gadgets then I think it will come with 960x540 pixels screen resolution. Further it might come with IPS quality screen.

Looks wise it seems to a decent phone with white body and three touch sensitive buttons at front bottom. Volume rockers keys are fixed on side edges. It will have Micromax official logo on bottom middle rear part. It will run on Android 4.1 JB+ OS with a dual core processor. Talking about RAM then I think it will be housed with minimum 1 GB RAM.

It is equipped with front + rear cameras with unknown lenses. Like all other Canvas gadgets it might be wrapped with 4 GB internal memory with 32 GB extension.

It will support all connectivity tools and will house 1850 mAh+ battery.

So MMX A91 Canvas Lite specs can be summed up as (only predicted specs):
• 4.5 inch screen
• Android 4.1 JB OS
• Dual Core processor
• 4GB internal memory
• At least 1850 mAh battery

Price and availability
Though no details about pricing and availability is known yet but it comes with above predicted specs then it will come with approx. Rs.9,000-10,000 starting price. But Micromax from always is known for giving surprises all the times so they might launch it for some surprising price tag (less than above range).

As I said earlier that official hadn’t unveiled any report regarding A91’s specs yet and all the specs which I have discussed so far are based purely on prediction. I share official specs once they will go live. So stay tuned.
